EXERCISE 2: LATCH

IDEATION

For my poster, I decided to pick Adventure Time since I am more familiar with that.

L: Candy Kingdom, Ice Kingdom, Fire Kingdom.
C: Elements
H: Hierarchy of Power / Person In Charge/ Main & Side Characters

IDEA #1
Initially, I wanted to do four location of the Land of Ooo in Adventure Time, such as Candy Kingdom, Ice Kingdom, Fire Kingdom, and Finn and Jake's tree house. However, I had no idea what element I should indicate for Finn and Jake as they are both different species.

FEEDBACK

WEEK 2
I showed 2 sketches to Ms. Anis, and she suggested me to further proceed on the second design as it is more interesting.

WEEK 3
I showed Ms. Anis the first attempted work (Fig 3.3) in the class and she advised me that the title "Hierarchy of Power" might get people wrong that the top (Princess Bubblegum) is the ruler of all when they look at the poster. So she suggested me to change the title and also place the name on top of the character.

REFLECTION

I found that L.A.T.C.H principle is very useful in organising different data and information and also apply them to Infographics. Not only that, this exercise was quite fun as I get to choose my favourite cartoon as the subject and try different technique to illustrate the work. I am content with the final result of the work.
