INSTRUCTION
For project 1 and 2, we were tasked to make an A3 infographic poster for a recipe taken from Pasta Grannies, and then create a motion graphic by using the assests from the final poster of Project 1.

PROJECT 1: Instructable Infographic Poster (Recipe)
IDEATION
The pasta grandma that I've chosen is Maria who make butterfly pasta (strichetti) with peas and prosciutto. Since the procedures of making seems rather simple and the result after the pasta done seems delicious to me, so I've decided to create a poster for it.

After watching the video, I came up with a mind map which includes the information, ingredients, and process.

Then, I started to sketch some drafts of ideas.

After I done digitalising the assets, I tried to put them in those designs that I've sketched. Ultimately, the third idea (Fig 3.3) had the best result, so I went for it.

PROCESS
I started off with the sketches of the assets which I'll use them as template in digitalising them in Adobe Illustrator later on.

PROJECT 2: Animated Infographic Video
I started off with adjusting all the assets in Adobe Illustrator by placing each steps in seperate new file, so that I can animate them in different composition in Adobe After Effects afterwards.

FEEDBACK
For the Project 1 (Poster), Ms. Anis suggested me to reamend the layout of the text on the top right and make the reference link obvious with darker colour or bigger font size.
REFLECTION
I particularly enjoyed doing this project! It was fun in designing those assets and layout of the poster, as well as animating them. I can see myself getting more familiar with After Effects in animating video as compared to before, and the composition thingy in After Effects really helps ease the animation process a lot. Most importantly, I've learned to break down the information which is very useful in designing infographics. Nevertheless, I feel satisfied when I saw the final results.
