PRACTICAL

Creating Cyborg (Part 1)
In today's class, Mr. Martin showed us a demo about editing cyborg. We can apply the knowledge got from this exercise into our Project 2a: Making yourself to partly cyborg.

 We were tasked to replace the girl (Bora)'s leg with the metal skeleton.

PROCESS
Crop Out Her Left Shank:
1. Mask out her left shank by using pen tool. 
2. Create new layer and use the stamp tool to patch the background.
3. Create new layer and use Elliptical Marquee tool to create a oval with darker colour filled in by eye dropping the colour from the shadow of her body.
4. Free transform to adjust size and angle, then use wrap mode (first icon on the top) to adjust the shape.
5. Duplicate the layer and place it on top to create another oval on the top.
6. Adjust its Inner/Outer glow in Blending Options.

Adding the Metal Skeleton:
7. Open the jpg of metal skeleton and mask it out.
8. Move the masked skeleton to the project, and free transform to adjust it.
9. Use erase tool for removing the exceed part.

Adding Cyborg Lines:
10. Select all layers and merge them, then duplicate the layer.
11. Adjust the brush to 5px and hardness 100%, then create a new adjustment layer.
12. Use the pen tool to draw the cyborg lines to our liking.
13. Select all paths, and apply stroke path to the new adjustment layer.
14. Load selection and apply mask to the main layer.
15. Load selection again, then delete the path and deselect the selection.
16. Turn off the visibility of stroke path layer.
17. Apply texture by adjusting Bevel&Emboss : Style : Inner Bevel under Blending Options.
18. Adjust the Depth, Size, Soften, Highlight mode and Shadow mode in Bevel & Emboss.

In today's class, Mr. Fauzi brifed us about the Final Project: Surralistic Parallax. He then showed us the excellent works done by our seniors to give us a clear picture of this project.
